Day 2. Before Loss Self Portrait
This picture was taken almost exactly a month before I had James. Boy was I huge!
We had gone to a Christmas tree farm early to reserve a tree knowing that James would be born right around the time we would normally go cut one down. We wanted to pick it out together. I knew that picking out trees would be the last thing I would want to do with a newborn. We never did go get that tree.
Now we have a tradition to try to cut down our Christmas tree on James' birthday every year.
